Annual General Meeting 2012

The Billericay Community Trust will be holding its Open Evening and Annual General Meeting on 22 May 2012, 7.30pm, Brightside Primary School.

After the brief AGM, there will be a celebratory presentation on the BCT's achievements of the past year by Mrs Unite, Chair of the Management Board & Head Teacher of Brightside Primary School. All welcome. The BCT Directors would particularly welcome all governors of BCT schools and Billericay parents. See here for the general invitation

Meet Sue Palmer!

Why can't children sit still and concentrate? Why are they so demanding? Why do boys behave so differently to girls? Why are there so many speech problems? There are no easy answers but the BCT is delighted to invite parents to listen to the voice of reason ... Sue Palmer, reknown writer on child development and education in the modern world. BCT teachers can testify to how motivational Sue Palmer's talks can be - Sue Palmer delivered a similar session to teachers from schools across Billericay on a BCT-wide in-service training day in February 2011. The session was so successful that the BCT Management Board decided to share the experience with their pupils' parents. The Sue Palmer Day for Parents will be on 14 October 2011 - see Events for more information. The session is bound to be very popular so booking is essential. This will be done via your child's school. Schools will be issuing invitation to their parents in due course.
